Chess Tour

Since its birth in the 6th century, chess has been the game of kings, a test of genius, and the ultimate war game. In the Great Mongol Empire, there were many remarkable kings renowned for their military tactics and strategies. Based on Mongolian history, it seems that these kings likely enjoyed playing strategic games like chess during their long campaigns as a form of rest and mental sharpening. The nomadic chess tour will provide an incredible opportunity to hone chess skills while traveling from one inspiring location to another. Unlike traditional chess tournaments, which are held at a single venue, the nomadic chess tournament takes place in various scenic natural settings, promoting relaxation and deep concentration. For this tournament, we have chosen 10 beautiful locations of historical and ecological significance in Mongolia as our chess venues.
